2013 SERIES INFORMATION
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in the NEWA's WetWerX Region 8 Grassroots Race Series! No matter your skill level, Beginner to Pro, no matter your race craft, vintage to supercharged, there is a class to race. Come race with others of all skill levels! No previous experience necessary, friendly staff and a helpful roster of awesome enthusiasts are always ready to help you get started and improve your experience. New blood is the fuel that keeps the flame of racing alive!
Series rounds 1 and 2, at Kingston Point Beach in Kingston, NY are just around the corner. Kingston is an awesome venue with a great beach, ample parking for competitors and their equipment, as well as a nice contingent of local spectators. Executed in a protected cove right on the historic Hudson River, the Kingston race is a world class event, not to be missed. Race one day or both; each day is an individually scored series round. Participants from all over the east coast will battle it out to see who truly owns The Brickyard!

Rules
As an IJSBA sanctioned race organization, NEWA follows the IJSBA rulebook in effect at the time of the competitive event. The current Rules Handbook and applicable Addedums may be downloaded here.
Participation in NEWA race events requires a *current* IJSBA membership. You must be a member to register online, join the IJSBA now.

- Pro/Am X2 Open
- Pro/Am Ski Stock Spec
- Pro/Am Ski Open
- Pro/Am Sport Spec
- Pro/Am Sport Open
- Pro/Am Runabout Open Spec
- Pro/Am Runabout Open (4 strokes & 2 strokes)
- Pro/Am Freestyle
Want to run a class not currently listed??? Bring friends! We would love to add more classes....Vintage Ski, Runabout 800 Stock, Runabout 800 Open, etc. We will run any class with 3 or more participants! Don't be shy, contact the NEWA with your class ideas today!
